Anneke Slis

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the “Laboratoire de Phonétique et Phonologie”, since July 2019. My research interest focuses on how cognitive factors and mechanical constraints contribute to articulatory variability and coordination. At the LPP, I am developing ways to identify important markers within the acoustic signal of speech productions of people with different types of motor speech disorders. Working Dr. Cecile Fougeron, and with Dr. Leonardo Lancia, we look at variability in the acoustic data that differentiates types of motor speech disorders, which can, for example, support clinicians in diagnosing speech impairments. The study is part of the project “MoSpeeDi », and is funded by “programme Sinergia du Fond National Suisse de la Recherche Scientifique”, which ends mid 2020.
