Reserving the experiment room

Use of the experiment room is limited to research in phonetics and phonology. The room is located on the second floor of the Maison de la Recherche (room 212), and can be accessed from Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 7 PM. An advance reservation is required.

The experiment room is not open to the public. Access is limited to speech researchers. The room cannot be “visited”.

To make a reservation, you must:

  • Check availability of the experiment room.
  • Send an email to resachambresourde@listes.univ-paris3.fr specifying the dates and times you wish to reserve.
  • All requests for reservations must be made to this email address, no later than the day before the requested date.
  • After you have finished, please ensure that the room is in the condition it was in when you arrived. Put any equipment that was moved back in its original location, plug in any devices you unplugged, etc.

If you are making your first reservation request, you must read and sign the Policy for Use of the Experiment Room. Send the document with your signature to resachambresourde@listes.univ-paris3.fr.

Summary

How to use the experiment room:

  1. Your name must be listed on the reservation web page in order to get the keys to the experiment room.
  2. The room is only available between 9 AM and 7 PM and no later.
  3. An interval of 30 minutes must be left between reservations in order to avoid time conflicts.
  4. For visitors from outside the lab, you must first consult with Angélique Amelot or your host researcher before making physiological recordings
  5. Each person may reserve no more than four hours per day.
  6. When requesting a reservation, students must list the name of your supervisor and external visitors the name of the LPP member who is hosting you.
