Equipment loans

The LPP has equipment that can be borrowed by researchers or students who want to make recordings or measurements.

The list of available equipment can be found here. The list is visible to anyone.

To borrow equipment, please contact Roland Trouville (roland.trouville@sorbonne-nouvelle.fr ) or Angélique Amelot (angelique.amelot@sorbonne-nouvelle.fr).

Procedure for borrowing

  • For equipment that is identified as “available for loan”, the maximum loan period is 2 months unless the LPP director approves an exception. This applies to items such as sound cards, microphones, recorders, field equipment, etc.
      • Regular members of the lab: submit a request directly.
      • Doctoral students and students in the Phonetics & Phonology masters: ask your dissertation or thesis director to submit a request.
      • Others (Affiliate members and people without an LPP affiliation): ask a colleague in the lab to submit a request and obtain approval from the director of the LPP.
  • For equipment that is listed as “en réserve” and is not intended to leave the LPP, such as computers and monitors:
      • Regular members of the lab: submit a request with approval from the director of the LPP.
      • Doctoral students and students in the Phonetics & Phonology masters: ask your dissertation or thesis director to submit a request and obtain approval from the director of the LPP.
      • Others (Affiliate members and people without an LPP affiliation): not permitted.
